Wallace Cotton Giveaway

Today I want to tell you about another of my favourite shops - Wallace Cotton.
I discovered them soon after they started five years ago. I bought a really sweet duvet set for my eldest daughter, who was only three or four at the time. She's now eight - the fairies have been replaced with Miley Cyrus, but the duvet still looks great.
My window seat is lined with Wallace Cotton box cushions, and our bed is covered in a beautiful mix of bright stripes and roses ("if it makes you happy..." says my husband!)

Wallace Cotton's philosophy is all about creating beautiful home textiles for their customers. They know how fabric can change the mood of a room, and affect people's moods as well, (doesn't your heart beat faster when you see a gorgeous cushion or the perfect print?) - Amen to that! They keep a wordly eye on the latest decorating trends, so that their linen range will harmonise perfectly with your interior design.

And as a special offer for my loyal readers I have
a $20 Wallace Cotton Gift Voucher to give away...
Simply follow my blog by joining as a Google Friend (see right hand column), place a comment (you can leave as many as you like) after any one of my listings over the coming week, and next Friday, 25th March, I will select my favourite comment to win the voucher. I love hearing what you think about my content and which articles interest you the most.

By the way, all my local Hawke's Bay peeps - did you know that Jessica's Design Store on Hastings Street, Napier, stock a big range of Wallace Cotton, or you can shop online.

Green with Envy

It's St Patrick's day, which marks my anniversary of moving to Hawke's Bay from Wellington. I arrived for my new advertising job as a fresh face gal in my early twenties, not knowing anyone in The Bay. I was introduced to another girl my age and she took me out to O'Flahertys Bar that night. It was a Tuesday night, but it was St Patrick's day, and the place was pumping. And that was it, I was hooked - met some great people and have never looked back! I'm still here, loving the Napier lifestyle, five years later (OK, maybe it's been a few more than five!).

In honour of this special day I have a feast for your eyes...
