Petra Bindel

A little interior inspiration to take us into the weekend... I love the work of photographer, Petra Bindel and have featured it before here. I've chosen to share with you three shoots I love, all very different, starting with photos for Urban Outfitters. They always have amazing styling, and in this shoot Petra worked with stylist Emma Persson Lagerberg.

This beautiful home belongs to Ylva Mazetti, and was featured in Elle 2011. The soft pastel colours and vintage furniture pieces give it a lovely relaxed, homely feel.

And these gorgeous photographs are for the Rädda Barnen (Save the Children) design shop - all profits go to their work for children in need. Petral worked with stylist Lotta Agaton on these photos.

Charlotte Love

I love styling! I love coming up with ideas, sourcing props and seeing an image come alive. There's such an art to it, and I'm definitely learning all the time, but I think if you have a keen eye and a good sense of balance and layout, you will learn quickly. Someone who I admire greatly is London based interior stylist and set designer, Charlotte Love. She has such a fun and quirky style, she's very clever! Check out some of her amazing work...

Mocka Vintage Stools

I always love to hear stories of how people take a negative and turn it into a positive. That's exactly what Mocka did when the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes threw their lives into upheaval. Instead of letting their family owned business suffer, they took the opportunity to relocate their base to larger premises and moved some of the family over the ditch to establish Mocka Australia. Now the business is bigger and better than ever, and they continue to release more and more cool, and affordable, products for your home.

Their Vintage Stools are a classic design that will look fantastic in your home. They are really sturdy, and perfect for the kids (big and small) to perch on. My daughter put them to the test recently and gave them a big "thumbs up".

Available in a range of colours, there is also a smaller version that will fit under their desks, or can be used as a side table. You'll be amazed at the wide range of products Mocka has on offer. Make sure you check out the full range, and keep up to date with all their news on their Facebook and Instagram pages.
